What is the syllabus of Vedantu VOLT ?
Students of Classes 4th to 10th will be tested on Mathematics, Sciences and Mental Ability. Students of Class 11th and Class 12th will be tested on subjects pertaining to their streams.
Where and How will I be able to attempt the VOLT ?
VOLT is completely Online. You will be able to attempt the test by logging into VOLT Website ( olympiad.vedantu.com ) with your VOLT credentials (VOLT Login ID / Password) that you had created at the time of registering for VOLT.
What if I get late due to some reason in starting the test?
It’s important to start the test on time, and we highly encourage everyone to start the test by 3PM on the test day. However due to some unforeseen situation, if you could not start the test by 3:00 PM of test day, we would give you the option to start the test till 3:30 PM. And, once you start the test, you would still get 1 hour 30 minutes to attempt the test. However, we won’t be allowing the students to start the test after 3:30 PM IST. If you miss the test on any test date, you can attempt the test on the next upcoming VOLT test. But you will be allowed to attempt only once.
Is there a physical center for VOLT?
No, VOLT is an Online Test. You will be able to attempt the VOLT from anywhere in the world and on any device – Laptop / Desktop / Smartphones.
Will I need a Login and Password to attempt the VOLT?
Yes, you will be able to attempt the VOLT on only after logging into VOLT Website ( olympiad.vedantu.com ) with your VOLT credentials (VOLT Login ID / Password) that you had created at the time of registering for VOLT.
What if I forget my password for VOLT Website Login?
VOLT is completely Online. You will be able to attempt the test by logging into VOLT Website ( olympiad.vedantu.com ) with your VOLT credentials (VOLT Login ID / Password) that you had created at the time of registering for VOLT.
Where should I attempt the VOLT – Desktop / Laptop / Mobile and What other things should I be ready for the test?
You will be able to take VOLT Online on any device – Laptop / Desktop or Mobile (Smartphone).
But, we strongly suggest to use Desktop or Laptop if available as the chances of disruption on Mobile Device is much higher (phone call, battery drainage, drop in the network, etc. can disrupt the test). We also suggest you have a stable internet connection (broadband) and have the latest version of Chrome Browser installed in your device.
What if my Test abruptly ends?
If your test ends abruptly (without clicking on the ‘End Test’ button) due to a power failure or internet disconnection, you can resume the test by re-logging into VOLT Website with your VOLT Credentials.
Note: the timer of the test will keep ticking in the background and once your test resumes, it will resume with the actual time at present (in other words, if you were disconnected for 5 min, you will lose 5 min in attempting the test).
Can I take Vedantu Olympiad Litmus Test from multiple devices?
No, we ensure that the test by a particular student is given from only one device. Any attempt to change the device in between will end the test. This is done to avoid certain possibilities of wrongdoings in test attempt. Please ensure that the device that you use is properly tested before, is connected with a power source and has proper internet connectivity.
What if someone Googles the answer?
Although questions are designed in a way that googling won’t help, tab switching or navigation to other applications is not allowed during the test. The test will automatically end if someone tries to do that.
Can I use a calculator?
Yes you can. There are no restrictions on using calculators. But again, the calculator won’t help with the kind of questions used in the test.
What are the Dos And Don’ts while attempting Vedantu Olympiad Litmus Test on Desktop or Laptop?
- Do not exit the ‘Full Screen’ mode while the Test is running – it will end the test.
- Do not press ESC while the Test is running – it will end the test.
- Alt+TAB or switching Applications is strictly prohibited – it will end the test.
- Please assure your device health and Internet connection, before the test starts.
- Do not change the device or browser while the Test is running – it will end the test.
- Do not click on any popup or notification from your system, browser or other applications, which are not part of the VOLT test page. We are also tracking the activities by the candidate while attempting the test.
