The wife of the founder of Chippendales and a well-known Indian American businesswoman is Irene Banarjee. Irene, a native of Los Angeles, California, was married to Indian-American businessman Steve. Later, he was convicted of murder, arson, and the deliberate murdering of male dancers and choreographers.

In his New York office, producer Nick De Noia was fatally shot, but the shooter escaped before police arrived. The following day, Steve received his death sentence and hanged himself in his cell. Steve’s wife Irene filed a petition to have her report action thrown out. The court deleted Irene’s file and related information after the first four months of filing.
