Albany Highway Crash Today
Albany Highway has been closed and motorists advised to avoid the area after a man in his 40s was seriously injured when he was hit by a car in Bedfordale.
St John WA paramedics received a call for assistance on about 8.45am on Monday.
It is understood the man, a pedestrian, was struck by a car on the highway and suffered serious injuries.
The RAC Rescue helicopter responded and is taking the man to Royal Perth Hospital for treatment.

As per the Perth Traffic twitter handle the road is closed for the ongoing traffic due to the crash accident. The tweet reads as

The accident took place between a car and the pedestrian going on the road. It was morning when WA Paramedics got call for help. The pedestrian also got sever injury due to being hit by the car. However, quick response from RAC helicopter team helped the man get aid urgently. We will update you when we get more updates.
